As a musician you travel a lot. I have been exposed too many traveling and sometimes I’m missing to watch my favorite shows, UK TV shows to be exact.

I’m craving to watch my favorite soap operas while snuggling my pillow to make me sleep. But since I am always away from UK, I mostly reply on Live streaming and video streaming sites.

I subscribed with promising Live Streaming provider in the internet. I hate the quality. The sound is irritating and so poor. The total quality is awful, my connection speed is ok and every time I used the Live Streaming service on that site, loading process works like decade. I tried to ask help with their customer service and I always get the same technical work around. My problem wasn’t resolved and it is the same every time I used it.

I was watching my favorite UK TV abroad sitcom when suddenly it hanged. It was loading like 30 minutes every 3 hours. It is really annoying and irritation. I felt frustrated while watching my favorite UK TV sitcom. I ended up closing my account since then. (more…)

British TV Shows Abroad

I am addicted on TV shows, not to mention English TV sitcoms. I never thought of missing British TV shows not until my wife and I needed to move out to Japan.

My wife is Japanese and we had this family business there to attend with. For few months of our stay here, I prolonged days being contented with few programs shown on Cable Channels. I like it. I just wish I could wish my favorite sitcoms and variety shows.

I have tried to use different providers in the internet.  Unluckily, I find it inconvenient and annoying. The connection is really bad and it loses my patience on wasting my time searching the internet. To many technical disturbance and unsatisfying experiences I had. Until I almost give up. (more…)

Looking TV From The UK

I never thought of missing my favorite English TV shows until I moved out with my girlfriend in Austria. Despite that, there are few TV shows from England programs to be watch, mostly SPORTS.

Yea I like F1 racing, cricket etc but sometimes I can’t help to crave for my ULTIMATE favorite variety shows or sitcoms or even soap opera. Somehow that you can laugh out loud from your favorite gag TV shows.

I attempted to rely on with Live streaming but the quality is really annoying. Well, who loves to watch a bad quality? Even with the bad quality reception from TV would vanished your appetite to watch your favorite show. What more, on LIVE STREAMING? OK let’s say we can tolerate the quality at least, but how about the downloading process every now and then. That is really irritating, right?

Nowhere else, to rely but in YouTube.com or any other video websites in the internet. However, YouTube.com implements “Legal Rights”, so if the account has been found uploading videos from a certain shows or someone’s unauthorized property. The account will be blocked or banned. Yet if you’re good enough on searching an account that can upload the shows to be watch, then its good. The reality is, you can’t find that easy and you need patience to search it.

Watch TV From United Kingdom

Moving to New Delhi, India to work as English Teacher is really a nice experienced. I loved it. I like the food, I enjoy the fun working here.

But, I admit I am missing watching British TV shows. TV progammes here are also nice and entertaining. I won’t deny that. Despite that I can watch TV thru Cable, the English TV shows are really limited. The only TV shows that can watch are the UK TV programmes plug on cable channels, because that is the only show I can understand.

Even though, I have laptop, I wasn’t aware of the Live streaming that time, except for the BBC iPlayer of course. It is popular in UK and everybody knows BBC iPlayer in UK. So I reply on YouTube.com. Since BBC iPlayer is blocked outside UK. (more…)

I am Renee, fashion designer. Traveling is a big part in my field. One time I stayed in Thailand for fashion event and I tried to use my BBC iPlayer abroad to watch TV abroad, I used to get this “This page is not available in your country.”

I have no choice but to search for some Live Streaming in the internet. It is all foreign people do when they are staying abroad, they rely on live streaming. If not the live streaming, Cable channels from the hotel.

It doesn’t really matter to me if the quality is really awful as long as I can watch my favorite TV show, but one time I’ve encountered a Live streaming with technical isolation and it is killing my appetite on watching the show. I remembered 3 years ago I moved to Thailand. It became my second home since then. I just wish I could watch my favorite UK TV shows.

But Cable Channels here are mostly Amercan TV shows. Moreover, Asian shows and if there are few UK TV shows on, it is only SPORTS.

I relied on Live Streaming just to get access with UK TV shows, since my BBC iPlayer shows messages like, “Currently BBC iPlayer TV programmes are available to play in the UK only…” I am quite thankful that free LIVE Streaming all over the net is free. Why? The quality of the media being digitized to be shown thru Live streaming is bloody aweful. Paying for such quality is like letting others ripping off your money. Live streaming allows you to watch the scene simultaneously abroad but it has a very low quality and most often loading time is very slow. And I ended up feeling upset and unsatisfied.
